How to install IonCube loader on CentOS 6.3

Download PDF

Download and uncompress the latest IonCube version:
# wget
# tar xvfz ioncube_loaders_lin_x86-64.tar.gz

Then we go to the new IonCube source directory:
# cd ioncube/

# mv /usr/lib64/php/modules

Now edit /etc/php.ini and add the line zend_extension = /usr/lib64/php/modules/
right at the beginning:
# vi /etc/php.ini
zend_extension = /usr/lib64/php/modules/

Now restart Apache:
# /etc/init.d/httpd restart

You can test  by creating a small PHP file
# vi /var/www/html/info.php

Now we call that file in a browser (e.g. http://***your website*** /info.php)
If its not showing you might have to disable SElinux;
# vi /etc/selinux/config

All Done!
